Life as a minister’s wife and mother of three has been a busy and fulfilling experience! Working full time, busy with three children all in sports and a husband who coached after school sports and played sports himself….and all the church activities – we were constantly heading here and there!
The children are now grown, my husband now enjoys sports on the television…gone are the busy days of heading out to games! Grandmother has become my favorite spoken word! Virginia Tech football still dominates our life and rightfully so! We love our Hokies! Church activities keep us both hopping ! Teaching Sunday School to a great group of 3rd thru 5th graders, sharing meals at a local hotel where families who have fallen on tough times are now living, women’s Bible studies, small groups….life is exciting and full!
My terrific husband, Brad, along with our Tibetan Spaniel, Tyrod and I, are avid walkers and living in historic Fredericksburg with all it offers has been a wonderful place to step out and discover ! We are often downtown at night enjoying the ambience, the history, the people and the terrific restaurants! History at Sunset during the summer months is a great walking adventure stepping back into history as the park rangers share their never ending stories of times past.
Life has enabled me to pursue my varied interests in careers! From working as a surgical technician, to administering a large child care, to being an administrative assistant and an office manager, to serving the community as a chaplain in the marketplace, to finally becoming a licensed real estate agent and spending several years selling real estate in Virginia, to finding my true niche in Property Management! Life is good!
From the time I purchased our first home, I decided that one day I would become a real estate agent. It didn’t happen right away…I purchased a few more homes before I began to see that my dream could become a reality and I took the plunge. I went back to school, studied and passed the state boards and began a full time career in real estate … and never looked back! Loved it from the start and prospered at it! And then…another move to a new place, following my husband’s career – and I found a position in property management! And once again, I was off and loving it! I have found my niche!
