I contacted a former colleague and I said, ‘Can you give me one word to describe me professionally?’ Well, I got three words. He said that I was “consistent, dependable and yet innovative” That’s true! It really sums up my approach to business.
My interest in the real estate profession is predicated on my previous professional and personal life. They have often overlapped but have a common theme: Community Service. It is in my blood. Professionally, for the last 20+ years, I have been employed in service to others working in advocacy and community development. I was a local Councilmember and selected by my colleagues to be a member of the Planning Board, Affordable Housing committees, active PTA parent, and all-around community volunteer. Vital, healthy, sustainable and thriving communities are extremely important to me.
In parallel, I was also a Navy spouse for 10+ years and managed multiple moves. This is where I started to build a knowledge base on real estate transactions and the how-to steps to securing a house that we could call HOME and a community that met the needs for my family. Schools, athletics and recreational centers, access to healthcare, social activities, commuting services, restaurants and shopping are all a part of the concept of HOME that we need to thrive.
I also have a love for design and architecture. As a hobby, I love creating interior spaces that reflect the warmth and functionality that we need to flourish. Show me a house with good bones and I’m ready to get to work!
It would be an honor to help you find or your list your HOME. To learn more, on how I can provide you with my services, please contact me at 202-308-0259 or email email@example.com.
