About Me:

Hi! I’m Marite Schwalbe and I am thrilled to be joining the Coldwell Banker Elite team.

I moved to Virginia in 2014 and I lived in the Roanoke area for three years before establishing myself in Stafford. I immediately felt in love with Virginia’s beautiful geography, culture and its characteristic southern hospitality.

Prior to getting my Real Estate license, I worked in the Banking Industry. Right after graduating with a bachelor’s in economics, I worked as a Commercial Credit Analyst for an international Bank. During this time, I went over numerous applicant’s financial and credit records to evaluate their credit-worthiness. I have also worked in a third-party administrator office helping several union workers understand their benefits and co-owned a small dessert catering business while living in Roanoke.

I have always been amazed by and drawn to the Real Estate business. I grew up watching my father investing in properties since I was a child. When he first came to visit me to Virginia, he had the desire to invest in a property and I quickly helped him find the one with the greatest profitability. I enjoyed being involved in the transaction and it was then that I knew I had the potential and ability to help people achieve their Real Estate goals, whether buying or selling, I knew I could successfully assist with what it is more than likely the biggest financial decision they would make.

I am a proud wife of my Veteran husband and proud mother of a sweet two-year-old. I am bilingual (Spanish/English), I love to travel, I enjoy getting to know new cultures and explore new places with my family and friends. I am a city lover with a country heart. I love living in Stafford. I enjoy the small town feel and still be able to take advantage of all the amenities that living close to the Nation’s Capital offer.

I have taken my entrepreneurial spirit, passion for homes, my strong financial background, integrity, honesty and amiable personality and shaped them into my main assets. You can be certain that I won’t always tell you want you want to hear but I will always tell you what you need to know.
