Located directly on the Occoquan Reservoir, this 74 acre park offers three-season boat rentals, with a Universal Access Boat Launch and dock access to the Occoquan Water Trail. If you’d prefer to stay on land, there’s mini-golf, playground areas, horseshoe pits and nature trails.
Silver Lake Regional Park has 230 acres of rolling meadows, pine forests and a 23-acre lake fed by Little Bull Run Stream. Hike around 4 miles of trails or stop and fish for bluegill and largemouth bass.
