Meet Dawn

Dreams do come true! My experience as a military spouse is that sometimes those dreams can become delayed when duty calls! My husband is a retired Marine of 21 years. We both grew up in Connecticut; our military careers took us to California, Georgia, Hawaii, North Carolina, and finally Virginia, where we settled in the Stafford area to raise our two sons and have resided for the last 20 years. Before my career in real estate, I worked in the banking industry for several years until duty called. I decided to raise my two children while caring for my aging parents. Doing this brought me many life experiences and a profound understanding of several of life’s challenges. I believe this part of my life was meant to be. Patience and understanding have allowed me to remain calm under tough circumstances.

Now that my sons are grown, residing in New Orleans, LA, my “home away from home," I decided to follow my dream. Believe it or not, throughout our many military moves, I always loved moving! I enjoy meeting new people, listening to life stories, and developing new, meaningful connections. My hobbies include running, aerobics classes, and taking my two bullies for a walk! I am passionate about the bully breeds; having rescued two American Staffordshire Terriers, I am a huge advocate for the breed.
