Hi. My name is Laura Hart. If you’re looking for a partner or someone to come alongside you in the process of buying or selling a home, I hope you will consider me.

I grew up in the Northwest, living in tight neighborhoods with even tighter neighbors. “It takes a village” was something we believed in as children and, as I raised my kids with my high school sweetheart and husband of 27 years, we discovered the value of that community ideal. We relocated from the West Coast a few years ago and now call Virginia home. I treasure family time and am blessed to have both our adult children back in the same state after college separated us. We’ve had great suburban experiences, but really enjoy the blessing of more space now, living on acreage with sun porches and outdoor living, taking in the fresh air with our puppy, Matti. I have fallen in love with the charm and history Virginia has to offer. The people here in the Fredericksburg/Spotsylvania area are among the most friendly I’ve encountered. My recent adventure took me through the same steps as my clients. It gives me empathy and helps me relate and understand the story behind each motivation. I understand the challenges in the life makeover that home-seeking and preparing homes to sell often requires.

Having been on many sides of the table: Landlord, Tenant, Buyer and Seller, I know that even if a move is desired, it’s still stressful and anxiety-inducing. If another life milestone is happening at the same time (marriage, divorce, death of family, or birth of a child), planning to buy or sell real estate on top of that current life experience can be a daunting task. I’ve been part of those experiences with clients, friends, and family in the best and worst of situations and have learned that a strong partnership is key. With over 20 years of experience on the commercial side of real estate, I am looking forward to applying that knowledge to assist clients with their buying and selling needs. I enjoy aiming toward the clients’ goals and maximizing the best value for what is important to them. That’s where listening and understanding the priorities of the client is paramount. As your guide in the real estate process, I value excellent communication. I will not only touch base regularly with you, but keep other parties in the loop as well. I am hands-on and will work closely with lenders, inspectors, and title offices to streamline the process and anticipate the next step for everyone involved. At every turn, I will share my honest opinion because everyone deserves the truth with integrity and respect. I provide my recommendation, but you, the client, are in charge. I look forward to working with you as your partner and guide.
