People buy and sell houses, but they create homes. As a Coldwell Banker Elite agent, I help you find the right house to make into a home. I also guide you when the decision is made to sell that home and transition to another. I was raised in Kirkland, WA (a suburb of Seattle) in a home that had wonderful sunset views and overlooked Lake Washington (and a lower-level apartment where my grandparents lived). As an adult, the feeling of “being home” occurred each time I returned for a visit. I want to help you enjoy that same feeling with your housing experience. I came to the real estate business after a career in law. I served in both the Federal and Virginia governments, with stints at the CIA, congressional staff, and in the Governor’s office as well as in private practice. I have engaged in high-stakes negotiations involving legislation, regulations, and contracts. I worked with my clients, sometimes individuals and sometimes corporate executives, to make complex issues simple, and to navigate processes that could challenge the patience of a saint. I was proud to help them attain their goals as quickly and with as few difficulties as possible. The skills I honed during my years practicing law, I can put to use as your realtor in selling or buying your home. These positions also enabled me to travel around our country and the world. I have worked effectively with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds. I am privileged to now utilize those skills to be able to assist my friends and neighbors with their real estate needs in the Fredericksburg area and I would be honored to assist you.
