Suzanne Surles is a seasoned real estate professional with a
wealth of experience and knowledge in the industry. She first became a REALTOR®
and learned the business through her family’s involvement in building and
construction in South Florida and Key Largo. Since then, she has had several
stints in the business, each time finding the excitement and passion that first
drew her to the industry.
Suzanne first visited the Fredericksburg area in 1991 while
working on her Master’s through a fellowship with the Department of the Navy on
the Aegis Project. She fell in love with the area and vowed to one day make it
her home.
Suzanne’s early exposure to Real Estate left her with a
lifelong desire to stay on top of trends as they affect the Market and in turn
how they affect her community. She obtained her Virginia Real Estate License in
1996 shortly after moving to Virginia and enjoyed being part of the growth and
development of Fredericksburg over several years. Although she took a few years
off to raise her family she never lost her desire to be involved in “all things
Real Estate”. In 2013 when her children
were starting to leave the nest, she got a Property and Casualty Insurance
license and again became involved in the real estate community.
Suzanne is active in the Fredericksburg Area Builders
Association (FABA) where she received the Committee Chairman of the Year
(2017), the Volunteer of the Year (2019) and the Spirit of FABA (2020) awards.
She is also active with the Fredericksburg Area Association of Realtors, Habitat
for Humanity/Women Build and Loisann’s Hope House/Festival of Trees.
In 2021, Suzanne reactivated her real estate
license and once again is enjoying the excitement and fulfillment of finding
her buyer clients not only a house but a “home,” and guiding her sellers
seamlessly through the selling process. She is committed to her clients and
community and looks forward to many more years of service.
